Halo - Master Chief by Hyokenseisou Halo - Master Chief by Hyokenseisou
Did a photoshoot with a fellow 405th member at CCEE 2011. This was my fave shot from both shoots.
There was very minimal editing; I only bumped up a bit on the brightness and contrast as my camera likes to upload things like 8 times darker than what it originally took. No cropping or photoshopping.

More pics from the shoot here: [link]

Master Chief suit made by Kevin Hickman [No I did not make this. I will be making a suit eventually though...]

READ!!
Please do not ask me if this is for sale or where you can buy one, how do you make Halo armor, how long did it take, how much did it cost to make, etc...
If you have any questions regarding THIS particular suit of armor, it's best to visit Kevin's site and send him an email.

From what I DO know about THIS suit, Kevin spent just over 1000 hours of labour, about $3000 worth of materials, and used the method called 'pepakura'. He's suit also features working LED lights, a fan in the helmet, and a PA system.

-----------------------------

For you fuckers too lazy to google the dame word:
Pepakura is when you take a desired image, made a 3D model, deconstruct it into a 2D model, print it on to cardstock, cut it out, reassemble back into 3D form, resin and fiberglass it, bondo and sand, paint, and then you have yourself armor or said original image.
If you want to learn more or learn how to MAKE your own Halo armor, visit the 405th forum: [link]
We are a community devoted to making personalized armor, in particular, Halo armor. The site is meant to teach and share to people how we make armor. We do not sell armor for profit. Some do private sale, but as a whole we encourage one to make their own armor.

Saw him at the expo. I've already looked up pepakura and joined up on the 405th forum. It's a bit daunting. I may just start on a helmet

Eventulaly I may try to make a Alphonse from FMA
