Artist's Comments
This is my first art contest entry for the 'Robert Bateman Writing and Art Contest'. I decided to do a fox because of my dog, he looks like a fox. This is my first time painting a real-life animal of canvas paper with acrylic paints. It actually turned out a little better than I had hoped. He looks as if he's waiting for something or someone (maybe one of his other fox friends?). I call it 'Waiting for a New Day' because that look/sense of waiting.
It was hard getting the colour/tone that I wanted, but alas, I could not because of the crappy paint we have a school...O.o Oh well, hope ya like him! ^^
